SAIC (SEMA Approved Installation Company)

The SAIC initiative is for professional storage equipment installation companies who are keen to develop safety standards and take a proactive approach to the development of this sector of the industry.

SARI (SEMA Approved Racking Inspector)

Our SEMA Approved Inspectors are highly qualified individuals who undertook extensive training to obtain their sufficient knowledge through a written examination and practical assessment. Our three qualified inspectors maintain their qualification and commit to a programme of on-going CPD (continuous professional development).

SDC (SEMA Distributor Company)

A SEMA Distributor Company qualification is necessary to allow knowledge that a company is supplying storage equipment of the highest quality and standards. SDE Group have demonstrated high levels of commitment to safety standards, work to industry codes of practice and are audited at random.

CHAS Premier Accredited Contractor

SDE Group have completed the Common Assessment Standard to achieve the CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) Premier standard demonstrating our compliance and commitment to risk management to both our clients and employees.

Being CHAS Premier Approved reduces duplication as compliance is accepted by all buyers. Before any works are carried out, SDE Group will provide full risk assessments and method statements relevant to all works we propose.

UKCA Marking

For all ‘fabricated structural steelwork’ delivered to site there is a legal requirement for it to carry the UKCA mark. This includes all mezzanine floor support steelwork, structural bolts and welding consumables. SDE and our supply partners have gained UKCA mark certification in line with the technical standard EN 1090: Execution of steel structures.

Safe Contractor

Being an accredited Safe Contractor means our procedures, policies, training and insurances have been rigorously audited and comply with legislation showing our clients and employees that we view health & safety not in isolation but as an integral part of our project delivery service.

NECEIC - held by SDE Energy Solutions

Most recognised register of electrical businesses accessing multiple companies to ensure the installation work undertaken meets the expected standards to ensure 100% safety. NECEIC check compliance and conformity against strict standards and regulations, ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated.

Achilles

Achilles UVBD Qualification allows suppliers to improve their services, measure performance and streamline connections with buyers in our chosen sector.

RECC - held by SDE Energy Solutions

SDE Energy Solutions Ltd. is a member of RECC which is approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the consumer codes approval scheme. We work with a range of renewable technologies from solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, solar water heating systems, ground and air source heat pumps and boilers as well as battery storage systems.

BM Trada

The Q-Mark scheme was established to encourage best practice specifically in the timber, fire & construction sector. The scheme aims to enhance the product and standards of organizations. Specifiers want greater confidence with the safety in a product than simply a manufacturer’s declaration.

BPEC - held by SDE Energy Solutions

BPEC is an approved installers certification for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and is recognised to demonstration competency to install the following technologies:

– Photovoltaic panels in context of renewable technologies

– Design of a PV system

– Installation of a PV system

– Commissioning

– Maintenance and Fault Finding

– PV Installation & Battery Storage Systems

Consumer Protection Association - held by SDE Energy Solutions

For domestic installations we register the customer deposit with the CPA (Consumer Protection Association) should the worst happen and we go into liquidation. The customer deposit will be re-covered or pre-install or if installed, a 2-year workmanship guarentee is in place by the CPA.

Global Wind Organisation - held by SDE Energy Solutions

Aaron Olver of SDE Energy Solutions Ltd (Technical Director) is certified as a competent person under Global Wind Organisation for installation and maintenance of wind turbine manufacturers and owners up to 2MW size turbine (this does not include off-shore). GWO standards and criteria, certified training providers are considered competent and proficient. Global Wind Organisation is a non-profit body founded and owned by it’s members – all of whom are globally leading wind turbine manufacturers and owners / operators.

Constructionline

Accreditation held by SDE Group where industry professionals and clients can find us as a reliable construction specialist. Construction Line Gold demonstrates that we are compliant with regulations and at the same time promotes our business by practicing all the necessary that will keep up and those around us safe. It ensures we abide by the legislation around modern slavery, anti-bribery and corruption and that we have been accessed and adhere to these standards to all potential buyers.

HIES - held by SDE Energy Solutions

HIES provides us with protection covering the installation of renewable energy and home energy efficiency products.

ISO 9001

Quality assurance policy that improves our quality of service by implemented processes and procedures. SDE Group have completed the appropriate assessment to be ISO 9001 accredited which aids in performance improvement, quality commitment and helping meet customer expectations.

ISO 14001

An internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environment management system. It helps us improve our environmental performance through effective use of resources and reduction of waste.

ISO 45001

An occupational Health and Safety Management System to improve Occupational health and safety performance to prevent injury and ill health.

MCS - held by SDE Energy Solutions

MCS is the quality standard we adhere to, using only MCS approved products and installation methods. An MCS certificate will be produced after install.

NAPIT - held by SDE Energy Solutions

Accreditation of electrical businesses to ensure the installation work undertaken meets the expected standards to ensure 100% safety. NAPIT check compliance and conformity against strict standards and regulations, ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated.
